The style keyboard has some flex to it, which is not uncommon with laptops is relatively thin. However, not at all mushy, has a key to a good size and comfortable for typing. The entire keyboard deck done in the same finish etched aluminum as a lid, and like a lid, which is resistant to stains fingerprints.
